Unemployment and business closures have been haunting the world for ages. Ironically on the other hand we come across numerous organizations looking for candidates to fill the vacancies but encountering failures even after several desperate attempts and advertisements.
The questions arising in every person’s mind are;
“Why are people unemployed if there are jobs?
“Why are so many dream ventures floundering and failing drastically?
The answer is very simple but needs an intricate understanding. There is no dearth of jobs or business opportunities, there is only a lack of the required skill set or aptitude. Industries need skilled artisans but those available do not match the requirements. Similarly, there are sizeable jobs but the youth lack the competency for the same to ensure productivity.
There is a pressing need to bridge this skill gap by providing hands-on experience through a robust & intensive program. An ecosystem needs to be created in tier 3 & 4 cities and even in villages, where students get maximum practical exposure to become market ready. The need of the hour is to motivate and train the students on becoming the best even in the worst scenario. Through this strategy, we can not only ensure 100% livelihood (jobs and businesses) for students, but we can also inculcate the young brains to become impactful and be the changemaker
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh (popularly known as CEDMAP) is an autonomous, not-for-profit, registered Society and ISO 9001:2015 certified Organization under the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
For the past 34 years, CEDMAP has been consistently and relentlessly working across the state of MP in the domains of Entrepreneurship, Skill Training, Project Consulting, Livelihood Projects, Financial Inclusion, Publication, and manpower outsourcing to government departments. It has a spectacular and astounding infrastructure of 52000 sq. ft which serves as the head office besides four Regional training centers and 52 district offices in MP
Looking at the persistent demands of academic institutions and students for providing them practical exposure and entrepreneurship training, CEDMAP has initiated Changemakers’ Program.
In order to make the students more employable and impart them practical training, CEDMAP introduced Changemakers program in association with universities and colleges. The objective of program are to provide students-Training & awareness programmes on soft skills as well as technical skills, Research & studies, Consultancy, Documentation, Outreach programs, Internships, Live projects, Incubation management services & programs on startups, Case Studies, Educational and industrial tours, Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops, Setting up skill labs, Research, Surveys and Studies etc.
